Shrimp poboy was off the chain. Called in my order, they said give them 15, I got there in 10, they were wrapping it up when I got there. The guy behind the counter was great; friendly and courteous. We had a nice chat and then he left me alone to eat the amazing poboy they made me. It’s been a long time since I’ve been here and they’ve grown a lot since then. It won’t be that long before I go back this time.

The food is perfect, and the service is second to none. It’s a small place, so a little crowded because everyone wants to eat there. And while it’s not a must have, it would be nice to buy beer to drink with your crawfish. Apparently its against Covington city code to sell alcohol across the street from a church??? But I feel certain there are other restaurants across the street, or next door to that sell more alcohol than beer.

Go, try them out! I’ve been hitting these guys up for months. The food is always cooked properly. It’s always hot and fresh. The flavor is so amazing for such a simple entrée that I get. The people are always friendly. The restaurant and the grounds are always clean. And their prices are very fair.

I am not the person to post a negative review, but I felt as though I needed to warn future customers. This has been our go-to place for seafood for years, but unfortunately, we will never return. I called to speak to the manager regarding the quality of the lump crab meat that we purchased yesterday. The product that we purchased was NOT lump crab meat. I don’t know the official name of crab meat that is not “lump” but it was shredded- very little taste. We were thought we thought we were purchasing a quality product and I thought for $38 we would get LUMP crab meat! My husband and I discussed it and I decided that I would call today to let them know that we were very disappointed and 100% dissatisfied. When the manager offered no explanation or opportunity to acknowledge an issue, I asked for a partial refund or a credit. She then hung up on me! Not only was the “crab meat” substandard, but the attitude of the manager was despicable. I’m so sorry to post this but unfortunately, we will never return to this establishment.
