Grandpa’s Diner in Berthoud is a fantastic family friendly diner. Had the pleasure of a family breakfast today. The menu choice was so varied and the food was delicious. Very prompt, professional and courteous service. Highest recommendation indeed. We will definitely be back her ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really good experience. The service was quick and attentive. The food was amazing. They have a mix of standard American comfort foods and great Indian cuisine. Get a chicken fried steak or lamb vindaloo…it’s all good!

It’s been awhile and we won’t be back. The scrambled eggs with cheese were undercooked and I swear the cheese was Velveeta. The hashbrowns were so crispy they were flavorless. The pancakes were good though. The waitress only came back to the table at the end of the meal to see if we needed a box for our uneaten meal. She couldn’t even think to revisit for more coffee. A gentleman came to the table at the very end and asked how the meal was. We said we had better. It sounded like he said.. Keep enjoying.

Wasn’t able to rate this ZERO stars. Worst experience we have ever had at GRANDPA’s Cafe. So sad to see it must’ve changed ownership. . We could not understand our waiter, and he just stood there and stared at us. Upon ordering our food, the kids meal came with one single chicken, tender and a bowl of Cantaloupe. We have never seen a kids meal with one chicken tender. My son asked if he could get a couple more for her, and they charged him $9 extra dollars. My granddaughter wanted chocolate milk, they charged $4.50 for that instead of making that her kids meal drink. ( her meal was suppose to come with an 8oz said juice, but not all kids drink juice). For 3 adults to eat, and two of us sharing our meal, which was a disgusting hamburger, asked for a lettuce wrap and instead got a disgusting hamburger patty on top of shredded lettuce. Our bill wound up being over $60 for 2 meals and a kids meal. It is sad to see a small café that we thoroughly enjoyed going to wind up how it is now. Will NOT BE BACK and would not suggest wasting your time or money here.

A good ole diner. Servers were all very pleasant and seemed to enjoy their job. Grandpas is where all the locals go for home cooked meals. I had the biscuits and gravy. Good breakfast sausage gravy biscuits fresh and very tasty. Would and will order again!

We wanted to try a local breakfast place the other morning and Grandpa’s Cafe popped up, so we decided to give it a try.
