Small little hole in the wall place. All the food we had here was great. It tasted excellent and very fresh. There was only one waitress manning the tables and she was great. Service was a little slow but expected given there was only one waitress and they got busy soon after we arrived. Overall definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely love this place. Everything is so very tasty! We normally get takeout but went inside for the first time the other day for lunch and it was absolutely delicious. Seems like they may be short a person maybe but who isn’t. Still had a great experience and will be back.

I was expecting this to be really good from the reviews but I really didn’t enjoy it. There were only two women working and our waitress was kind but the other (older) woman waitress didn’t seem to be helping her that much and was visiting her friends who were eating there. It was dead except for my husband and me, and two other sets of women & ppl calling in or at the drive through. I felt like the cheese was like that fake kind and the only thing that was good was the grilled shrimp, the fried zucchini was Ok but the rest I couldn’t really eat bc the seasoning was a little spicy. I had asked about this before to our waitress and she said it wasn’t but I guess our ideas of spicy are just different. My husband liked it so he can eat my leftovers at least. It also seemed like Valentine’s Day, Christmas, Halloween & Dia de Los Muertos were all going on at the same time there which was lively but a little confusing.

Both times I’ve ate here have been very good. Today, I got a bowl of gumbo. I eat gumbo everywhere here in the south. I must say, here is top 5. The reason it looks watered down is, I put most of my ice from my tea in it so I could get the temperature down enough to eat it. Ever drink a cup of McDonald’s coffee? It’s that hot.

We had lunch at Blue Ocean Seafood on our way to Matagorda County Birding Center. The exterior and interior of the restaurant are nicely decorated. The service was friendly and efficient. We had the lunch specials (Fried Oysters / Friend Shrimps & Oysters) which were delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

The food was served quickly and was pretty decent. Good portion sizes. The young group of workers were very loudly chatting and laughing in the back so that was a bit distracting. My husband and I both had stomach issues afterwards so we probably won’t return.

Im not sure what the bad reviews are about but this was my first time eating at this place, and the food was absolutely delicious. I got fried asparagus with a creamy sauce and grilled shrimp with salad and french fries! Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. Definitely going back
