Normally love this place but you have to call to confirm whether they are actually working or not. Several times I have driven across town during their posted hours just to find out that they are closed. Waste of time and gas on my part.

I used to get steak sandwhiches from here years ago. I recently went back to see if one of my old favorites was still any good. To my surprise it was still the same great service and the same great steak sandwich loaded with meat. Highly recommend!

I went to J’s Subs with my father who works for the better business bureau, and I’m very upset to say, our experience was very unpleasant. We had to ask for our table to be cleaned, once a worker “cleaned” our table, it was still very disgusting. We had to clean our own table. When we walked in we noticed every table was very filthy… Cheese steak meat everywhere, salt and pepper all over the floors and tables, and the salt and pepper shakers were very greasy. Once we received our cheese steaks we noticed it was cold. Also, because they were cold, the cheese was not melted. We will not be going back to that establishment again. My father will be making a report.

So last year I gave them a 5 star. I just changed to 3 stars & that’s only because I’ve been a customer over 25 years & this is the 1st time my food SUCKED. Last week 9/28/22 I picked up dinner. Italian sub with french fries my regular as always. Chicken, bacon ranch sub with perogies for the hubby. It was terrible, SO DISAPPOINTED Nothing was fresh as it always was. The bread was hard on both sandwiches. My lettuce was brown & the part of the roll that wasn’t hard was soggy. French fries & perogies tasted as though it was fried in oil they haven’t cleaned in over a week. I love to cook & it makes me happy to make sure the people I cook for have a great experience & enjoy there fresh hot meals. This was nothing like that, ugh. Very disappointed please go back to serving sandwiches on fresh bread, veggies & please clean your oil everyday. Thank you!

Love their food, it’s always really good and made perfectly, but I’m very disappointed because I found out they don’t sell corn nuggets anymore when I was placing an order recently. They were my absolute favorite thing to get and I have my kids hooked on them too.

The service was great they got my order right and all but when I got my normal order the cheese sauce for my fries was oil ( which it shouldn’t be ) and disgusting . They should get better cheese sauce.

we ate from here today and the steaks were good. but ANYTHING fried??? yea no. i work at a drive in where half the menu is fried and i can tell just from the smell of the fries that they need to change the oil. not to mention the funky taste. take care of the establishment and it will show in the reviews.
