Definitely a new experience. Everyone liked at least one of the items. Some food was spicy but I am a lite weight. Great staff! We enjoyed it.

The food was okay (quite spicy!) and it is an interesting experience to eat with your hands.

This place has amazing food. I have never had Ethiopian food and found the Awaze tibs delicious. My vegetarian friend got the four -sample plate and said it was good too. Be prepared to eat with your hands!

Great atmosphere. Really friendly and helpful service. Delicious food and good prices. We got the combination plate to split for two and it was plenty of food and we’re both big eaters. Quality ingredients and will prepared variety of options. I’m definitely going back.

In town for a quick meeting and we’re just wandering around. Owner of the restaurant came out to say hi and explain his restaurant and passion for fresh, organic Ethiopian food.

We came in on a Saturday night after another Ethiopian restaurant down the street had a wait. We were initially a little skeptical because it seemed like it was more of a hookah bar than a restaurant but I’m so glad we stayed. The food was delicious, the beef in particular was amazing. Highly recommend!

We don’t get many opportunities to eat Ethiopian food yet we love it. The food was very good and the service was excellent. There is not much of an atmosphere though. They could use a little updating on the decor. However, I enjoyed the vegetarian sampler and chose the 7 options. It was a good amount of food and my favorite was the lentil which had just a bit of spice. The rest of my party enjoyed the chicken and lamb dishes. They have a very small beer selection with some Ethiopian options. Overall, it was a good experience.

This restaurant has good food but for some reason every time I’ve gone it seems closed. Then we go in, the lights are dark but they are open so we sit at a table and order. Minutes later lots of people emerge from a back room and the lights get brighter. It’s intriguing.

Fantastic food. Get the meat sampler if it’s your first time for Ethiopian. They say it’s for 3 but could easily feed 4. Great service, very attentive. Low prices. I left full and happy!

Been there several times and it was great. On Saturday, April 13, 2019 I went there with friends and the experience was not good. There was no bartender. The waitress was behind the bar serving drinks and did not make them well, did not know how to properly make the (we had to tell her how to make a Bourbon and coke with no ice), and then she started making up prices. It was so bad I went Chaplin’s next door to get myself a proper drink. The music was great with 3 DJs: Phillip the Haitian, Cleveland Browne, and Paul Howard. I will have to drop my rating. Hopefully, it does not happen again otherwise, I am going elsewhere for good and taking my friends with me.
