At our Oak Grove, KY location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

For 3 meals (catfish and 1 fish and 1 with shrimp) it cost $41.00 with NO drinks. I never recalled Captain D’s not including a drink with meals before this but I could have of used one after eating my meal. The fish and sides were very hot and received it promptly. Asked for particular sides, but didn’t receive what I wanted. Check your bag before pulling off!

Edit: the general manager was quick and great getting back to me which I really appreciate. They explained the restaurant is closed due to road construction and workers not being able to get to the restaurant I change my stars from a one to a 4 as it’s not their fault but still disappointed I couldn’t try their food this trip through 🙂

Absolutely ridiculous. Pulled to the drive through 20 till 8 there was a car in front of me and the people inside refused to let either of us place an order. No wonder the business here is so slow and store is hardly staying afloat

Don’t bother going unless u go an hr before there already cut hours went threw drive thru at 740 to find out that they are closing at 8 now just to be turned away because they had already shut off everything what’s the point of having hours of operation if your just going to open and close when you feel like it
