Drove quite a distance to try this place. The line was confusing on where to go. As we stood by the menu we waited for about ten minutes to be greeted or acknowledged. We inquired about their breakfast and was told they would rather get the lunch. Ordered the lunch brisket, and sides. The brisket was decent and their dessert was from house of pies. Their add on section of the line was pretty bare, no additional cups, or small plates or anything to put those items on. Maybe it was an off day for the team but as for our experience it was mediocre. Give it a try and see what the hype is about.

Highly recommend! They have enormous and the best baked chopper potatoes, they have amazing Buffalo wings, the meats and sides are flavorful and done right. Their dirty rice is among the best I’ve had. Wendy the front end manager goes above and beyond for service and truly cares about the quality of food and service provided.

Visited twice after they reopened after the fire. Both times it took a while to get all the orders. If you don’t mind eating while the rest of your family waits for their food.. then this is the place for you.

Greeted by the manager or owner immediately when we walked in and explained a bit about his restaurant. This was our first time in a 9ers and the food was fantastic! Ordered the baby backs and chicken wings special for 29.99 and it did NOT disappoint. Great food, clean restaurant and restrooms. Very friendly staff and will definitely be back!

I usually don’t comment on staff, but pulled into the parking lot. There’s an elderly gentleman with his cane shooting across the parking lot. Three staff members came out held the door open and helped him walk to his table. They served his plate and brought it to his table. Today you don’t see things like that. People are so involved in their own things. They don’t take the time to be of service. The staff is always friendly and the food is great. All you can eat breakfast buffet. That one act of kindness will keep me coming back here.

This was my first time visiting this place and I must admit I wasn’t expecting it to be that good just ok. I got a 3 meat plate (beef sausage, pork ribs,and brisket)with 2 sides and I got banana pudding for dessert. The meat was smoked perfectly and my potato salad and beans were great. Now I must say the banana pudding on the other hand was just ok because they don’t have bananas in the banana pudding and I love mine with bananas in it but that’s just me some people like it without bananas so no point deduction for that I’ll just pick a different dessert next time lol.

Gnats turned out to be flies near the serving area and at our table. Not sure how this place passed the health inspection. The sliced onions were dried out and starting to have babies and clearly were not fresh. The chicken tasted old and broiled not grilled/bbq. Sweet potatoes were straight out of the can. Most of our food was left on the tray. When this place was Hickory Barn food was great. Did not receive friendly service with a smile like at Spring Creek or Schulzes BBQ. Would not recommend and will not return. 9ers should stick with their original concept, this was an epic failure.
