Pub like casual atmosphere. Our server Jade was fast, efficient, and friendly despite being fairly busy. Fried pickles were an excellent appetizer. We ordered shrimp tacos and chicken salad croissants. Try the corn nuggets. Portion size was generous and food was well seasoned and presented. Good food, excellent server. What more could you ask for!

Ok, we were just stopping in town for the night. Most places to eat where closed or closing soon. Found this little spot on Google, not only did they feed us and kept our glass full, past closing hour. They didn’t push the bill on us or bus is if we were done. The food was amazing and the beers were good. Had the dessert the next day, delicious. Definitely stop in.

We went her two night in a row. First the service. Great it might seem slow but this is the south and you are in too much of a hurry. Next the beers awesome for a small local brewery. Some beers are so so BUT ask the staff they are brutally honest and that’s why this place is great. The food was amazing American cuisine. What killed me was my food came out hot and stayed hot till I was done. Remember this is the south so the portions are huge. Bottom line come here you won’t be disappointed.

Not the most comfortable seating, but the food and service were great. They should seat people though, instead of letting them sit anywhere. I had picked a table near the front, placed my order, then headed to the bathroom. When I came back, there were a bunch of people sitting at my table. I felt bad making them move, but I was there first and I had already ordered. I got the chicken quesadilla and a side of corn nuggets. Everything tasted delicious! The root beer was a little watery though. And they definitely need to be checking the bathrooms, every hour or so. They don’t have men’s and women’s, it’s first-come-first-serve, and they weren’t the cleanest. Other than that, it was a good place to eat. The next time I’m hiking in the area, I’m sure I’ll stop here again.

Food is good but can be hit or miss. More hits than misses though. Service is always prompt and attentive. This is one of beat atmospheres for a bar I have ever been in. Spacious and comfortable to move around in though like any bar can get loud. Burgers are excellent. Can’t recommend enough. Most consistent item on the menu I have gotten. Ribs are good but not always. Fries are above average but would be better in my opinion with some extra seasoning. Onion rings are ok but nothing special. The Philly cheese steak is flavorful and good portioned, just wish it was bigger for me. House made chips are not always that good. Have gotten them and had them spot on and other times nearly burnt up. The Irish nachos are good but has the same problem as the house made chips. Definitely a good hangout for a group of friends looking for a place to chill and have a good choice of beers.

we love the wings at Monkey Town. They also always have an interesting selection of craft beer. Service is good, with friendly staff.

Gotta give this place a try, the food was great and service too. I got the beer cheese appetizers with chips and the wife got the Pretzel. Let me say the Pretzel with beer cheese was great.

We chose to dine in at Monkey Town in Dayton Sunday evening. My daughter wanted to sit on the side with the pool tables and after ordering we noticed there were balls on the table. We then asked for pool sticks so we could play pool with her. A server gladly grabbed the pool sticks for us. After ordering I decided to add a drink, and the drink was brought to the table, after drinking Some of the drink the waitress returns and informs me she brought the wrong drink. She said she would have to take the drink back in order for me to get my drink So we agreed to pay for it so she wouldn’t have to dump it. Upon asking for the check we were informed they charge for pool would be added so they needed to know how long we were going to play. The family close to us overheard the discussion as they were playing pool too and had already cashed out. They also questioned why we were being charged for pool as they had not been charged and had played longer than us and said they were not aware of the charges as well. I stopped by today Monday to speak with the manager as I had requested one on Sunday but she would not come to the table she sent the server with a $10 gift certificate. She had no problem talking to the table next to us as they were her friends it seemed but couldn’t walk a few extra steps to speak with me. So the lady I spoke with today I believe her name was Sarah informed me that we should have known that there would be a charge for pool as we would have to ask for the balls and pool sticks. I informed Sarah at the balls were already on the table and we did in fact ask for the pool sticks but we’re not informed of any charges and there was no signage posted anywhere. She then basically made me feel like it was my fault. With that being our first time playing pool while dining there I believe there should be signage posted somewhere or the servers should inform you as they bring the pool sticks. I understand we can’t expect for the pool to be free and we had no problem paying for the wrong drink or the pool but it would have been nice to know. The thing that bothers me the most is the way they handled the situation yesterday and today. I left the $10 gift certificate they provided with and associate I knew dining in as I walked out the door. It was an $85 check and I feel they handled the situation poorly.

I’ve been here several times, and each time the food is better than the last. You can’t go wrong with trying anything on the menu.
