They only take cash at this location it’s near U OF H but in the hood. No problems anytime I’ve gone in drive thru. The chicken is great but the beans and rice sucked. I didn’t eat that. Next time I will get the greens or something.

No Frenchy’s beats the original Frenchy’s and nobody beats the original Frenchy’s. The chicken is great as is no need for sauces or toppings. Great cornbread as is no need for heat or butter. This place is worth the trip no matter where you are in the city.

I had the 3 piece chicken tenders meal with fries. The tenders were very flavorful. The fries were crispy. The roll was soft and buttery. Everything was fresh.

Chicken flavor has changed! Its bland. Kick up flavor tad bit more seasoning. Its not standing out like it used to be. Rolls are so much better. Softer!

Every time I’m in Houston, I have to go to Frenchy’s at least once. Went today (7/28/23) and found that they had moved to their new permanent home on Scott Street. It’s beautiful. I’m so proud that a local favorite that’s been around probably longer than I have has finally gotten this beautiful facility. I was told that it will eventually function as a 2 story restaurant . Frenchy’s has come a long way baby. The drive thru was crazy busy as usual so we went in and ordered. Not overly fancy, but all that we needed. Congratulations Frenchy’s!

It’s a Sunday and 100 degrees out. My ordered was taken in-person through the drive through by two of the sweetest young gentlemen. I haven’t even recieved my food yet…. but I’m so impressed by their patience on this hot Houston day. Drive through line was long… and nerve wrecking and they are managing to make things flow quickly and smoothly.

New building but the same level of service. Atmosphere is also great. Also cashless creates a safe environment, but I saw an employee take money from a customer who didn’t have a card. Saying im gone pay for your chicken. He got his food but I didn’t see the employee swipe a personal card to pay for the chicken. They disappeared money in hand. Apparently he’s a regular. Ask your employees who Anthony is.

The food was delicious normal sized wings. Not the jumbo ones. Fried to perfection and flavorful. Love the pickled jalapeños I ate them all with the chicken. Restaurant was clean and the staff were extremely polite. Hubby and I devoured the food in like 5 min.
