I would not recommend this place. The food was just edible. For two street corn halves it was 6.95 and the 4 shrimp tacos were 25.99. I would only eat it again if it was free. I have never left a Mexican restaurant still a little hungry. I usually can’t even finish my plate. So this place gets a definite thumbs down .

Excellent food. This is our third or fourth time eating at Las Tortugas. The service is always friendly and courteous. The restaurant eating areas and restrooms have always been clean and tidy. I had the shrimp tacos, and my husband had the carne asada tacos. I’ve had the shrimp tortuga before. It was tasty but very filling with the bread, so I usually get the tacos instead. I love the smoky sauce, fresh chips, and chunky guacamole that come with the shrimp tacos. The prices are a bit high, but the quality is as well, so I can understand why.
