It is a pretty indian restaurant in this area. We accidentally discovered the place. We ordered the vegetable pakora, and they were perfectly crisp, tasted really good with their pickled onions and mint chutney.

I go far out of my way to make sure I eat at Jay’s. Best food, amazing atmosphere and service. It’s like eating at a family members home. Owner is funny and welcoming, you can laugh the whole time there.

DO go! I was delighted with the warm, friendly greeting and it only got better and better. I stopped in for takeout of Chicken Tiki Marsala and Nan Bread. I was seated at the bar to wait (short wait) and chatted with Jay while waiting. He is a delight! And the food was excellent! I’ll definitely be going back to explore more on their menu! Warm, friendly, professional, clean, adorable and beautiful decor. Don’t miss it!

I recently had dinner at Jay’s with my dad and it truly felt like we were at a family member’s home. Jay was so gracious and welcoming — and funny! We enjoyed the food (and the plentiful leftovers we took home) as much as we enjoyed the company. When we couldn’t decide what to order, Jay offered to customize meals, taking our potential menu selections and tweaking them based on our preferences and his personal suggestions. Everything was packed with flavor and utterly delightful! We went there on a recommendation from a friend who said the owner was so lovely that we should check it out. I can’t reiterate that enough…Jay’s is a gem in the downtown area!

We drove from Duxbury to pick up takeout from Jay’s. It was worth every minute and every mile! The food was perfectly seasoned, perfectly portioned and was made with attention to detail and quality ingredients. Thank you so much for an amazing lunch.
