The server was exceptional. She explained everything in detail to someone who had never been before. The food was fresh and tasty. My only complaint is that they were not at all busy and a group of workers just milled around talking. It’s not a big deal, except that it took quite some time for the food to come out. Great choice for fresh, healthy food made to order. Friendly, not so fast service. Had it not been for the slow service while being over staffed, it would have been an easy 5 stars.

We are vegan and are trying cafe yumm for the first time (although there is a location close to our place in Seattle). The menu is quite malleable which is nice, but making the dishes vegan make them kind of bland. I like that the ingredients felt very fresh, I was just looking for more flavor. I’m sure it’s good if you eat meat and dairy. The staff was incredibly helpful, nice, and efficient. I probable would only go here if there were no other vegan options.

Ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box for lunch. It was good! The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was good. I ordered on Uber Eats and it came quickly. The rice to meat ratio was a bit heavier than I’d hope but I’d order it again!

I hate giving negative reviews but the last two delivery orders have been incorrect (one missing the cauliflower sub and today was missing the tofu completely). I double checked the on-line order as well as the receipt on the bag, both had the correct order written but that wasn’t what came. When I am ordering via doordash and cannot double check myself, it’s disappointing that they didn’t take the time to get the order right. Especially when I pay $15.95 even before delivery fee. I give up on Cafe Yumm here in Bend
