I was looking for somewhere to relax after work – it’s been a bit of a long week so far. I needed a drink and a nice sandwich, plus some time to decompress before returning home. Parkside seemed a good place to do both for where I was at the moment. Not but a few blocks from the I-74 bridge, it was right off of my route at the time to return home.

Decent place to eat and grab a drink. The waitress that night had the entire indoor area to serve on her own and she did fantastic. Very attentive and checked back with our group even though she was running around so crazy. The indoors is a bit noisy and dated. I would return with friends. Sometimes going to watch local bands.

My family and I came in for lunch and we all left disappointed and hungry after paying a $55 bill. No one finished their food and two people blatantly told them we didn’t enjoy it and they just said sorry and charged us anyhow. Top it off with the fact the bartender had her toddler running around the place entire time.

Place wasn’t very busy at the time. There were 10 of us. I understand it may take a bit to get our food. After an hour we finally started getting our food. Those people were done eating by the time the last of us got ours. Food was mediocre. I asked for water twice. Never got it. Would not recommend.

Waitstaff was very accommodating. Food was as ordered and served hot. Pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Played the Elvis penny slots and was a very fun game. Absolutely recommend this place for food, entertainment, and great waitresses with a good attitude and smile. Forgot to take pictures of our food, but we had burgers and homemade fries, and they were delicious!

One of our favorite Thursday night stops. Daytona Nachos and an NHL hockey game go hand in hand. Have always had a good time here. The bartenders keep ya from getting thirsty and the food is good. We’ll be back soon!
