I enjoy Frugals’ “Garden burger” because it’s a decent vegetarian option. Today is the second time I’ve had bacon mixed in with my sautéed mushrooms. Unfortunately I didn’t catch it in time and almost swallowed it. I wasted $20 when I couldn’t stop myself from emptying my stomach. The appearance of the burgers is nothing to write home about but this photo was of one I tore apart to find the bacon inside of it.

The service there was awful. I’ve been there a couple of times now and nearly every time I’ve been there, they mess up my order one of another. I one time ordered a chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese and bacon. They forgot the pepper jack cheese and bacon. I one time ordered a double cheeseburger with mushroom. Only mushrooms. They added lettuce, ketchup, mustard, pickles as well as the mushrooms. This happens so consistently when I’m there, it’s ridiculous. I’m not eating at this location any time soon

*DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY* Ever since reopening the food is absolutely terrible. While I was standing at the order window I watched the kid on the fryer take fries that had been sitting in the warmer and drop them back into the fryer, re-salt them and serve them to the drive thru. The customer service is absolutely terrible and whoever is managing is failing miserably. Ordered the Griz and the bacon looked and tasted like it was from yesterday, burger was cold, girl working the window read the receipt and still forgot to give me my fries and drink. Sorry, but your remodel doesn’t do any justice if the food and customer service isn’t there.

Traveling through town. Place looked cool, and has decent reviews, plus can order online, so we gave it a shot. Food was pretty terrible. I had the fish sandwich, and wife had garden burger and fries. Fish sandwich was super weak, w old lettuce too. Burger was apparently ok, but fries were so bad my wife didn’t even eat them…and she always eats fries, even if they’re not great.

A young girl was rude when taking my order, they messed up my burger twice, I finally gave up and left with my order wrong. There was ketchup all over the inside of my bag even though I didn’t ask for ketchup on anything. The young man who was working the till was very nice. The rest seemed to have an attitude. I normally like their food and their service but this time was ridiculous.

Don’t waste your time or money. Ever since reopening I have only had issues when going here. I used to go here on a consistent basis for lunch but the last 4-5 times my order has been messed up. Missing items, completely ignoring basic modifications (even though they are listed on the receipt) and rude service. Called today to address the issues I ran into with my order and the staff was extremely rude, cut me off, and was condescending. I will not be returning and I will not be recommending it to anyone like I have in the past. I’m very disappointed and have wasted $50+ on orders that were filled incorrectly in the last few months.

Frugal’s is not what it used to be. I understand times are different now but man was that a disappointment. Our meal was terrible, overcooked, and we didn’t even receive it how we ordered it. Some of the fries were hard and it was overall just not a good experience. However the staff was friendly!
