Unassuming from the outside, this is a quaint little hole in the wall type place with a vast menu of dishes! And they’re all prepared deliciously! Unlike a diner where their menu is vast, but all prepared mediocrely, each dish here is cooked with care! I’ve had many items on the menu so far & have not been disappointed yet!

The same person you pay takes your order, there was also a cook there. The food that we had was okay, it was not special. We had hamburgers with different toppings. I felt it was a bit expensive. My friends said it was average. The restaurant was an older place and needed a good scrub down. People got a lot of food to go while we were there. The beat thing that was there was their fresh made ice cream milkshake with fresh fruit it was superb!!

1st time customer. The burgers were horrible, tasted old. The fries had a slight essence of rotten potatoes. Nothing was yummy. My wife and I wanted to try this place, our first and last time here.

Stopped in today and was very happy to find out they use fresh mushrooms in there burgers instead of the canned mushrooms which I’m not a fan of. The burger was very satisfying and the perfect size so I’ll definitely be back.

I was a little late to pick up my food, and the woman working out front re fried my fries for me to warm them up. She was so sweet and personable. I’ve been back a few times already. When you think of burgers in anchorage, Max Burger should be what you picture.

Max’s may be the best burger joint I’ve been to. There may be a better one out of state, but this one is hard to beat. More than a dozen burger choices made fresh to order. A staff that cares. Bare bones basic dining room, which barely matters after you get your burger. Lots of other food options – rather wide-ranging for a burger joint, including Hawaiian BBQ.

They have a big variety of food choices from Mexican to Hawaiian and American and others. They have a clean dinning area and also kid friendly area where they can play with toys. The food is good but it is pricey. Also their restrooms are very clean! Every time we go here everyone is wearing a mask even after the new “vaccinated individuals can stop wearing masks” mandate, which is nice of them. The wait is very long though so be ready to wait for 20-60min for your meal. The staff is very friendly and polite.

My family really enjoys the food here! The menu has something for everyone. Everything is always hot and delicious. Customer service is wonderful; the lady at the front desk is the so sweet. Consistently good! A great place for lunch or dinner.
