Went with a small group at lunch. Bought a burger. Very delicious. You can walk up to window to order, if you choose to do so and there’s a large, screened patio available to sit. …Seating available inside too. We sat inside.

Slow cooked homemade food, made fresh all day! Been here since 1952. The service is always great and they treat you like well. If you go once, you’ll be coming back! George the morning cook is amazing and everyone asks for him by name. You just feel like everyone is family❤️

When I walked into this location, I did not know what to expect. I was driving in the area and the sign read “best burger”. And ironically, that is what I was in the mood for a Hamburger…. Walking up you think the place is just some hole in the wall type of Ol School Diner. Boy was I wrong at face value. When you walk into the establishment, you walk into a beautiful classic looking diner with a sports atmosphere, smiling faces, and the smell of delicious barbecue aroma. Great conversation and a large menu for all sorts of tastes depending on what you’re in the mood for.

Had the Steak and Eggs for breakfast. Loved the atmosphere. Just like when I was growing up. Good food to boot. Restaurants need to get back to this old school feel.

We were a little worried when we rolled up under the bridge to this hidden gem that was populated with only regular patrons who were confused what a bunch of people from New England were doing walking into their “hole in the wall” bar. They said that, not me.(Also, I would recommend not walking here as it seems like it is in a rougher part of town) However, we were absolutely happy with our food and the beer was as cheap as a person could imagine during happy hour. The sides with meals are simple and not as great but I doubt you’ll find a lower price point anywhere. Two beers and a main course for roughly $15. I had a burger and it was big and pretty tasty. One of our party got a veggie omelette with home fries that appeared to be the winner of the meal. All in all, the food was pretty good, the servers were friendly, and the beer was cheap. It does have some barbecue options but it’s really more of a southern diner. If you’ve got the guts to get here, I’d definitely recommend it.
