This is the real deal, and we should know, we are from the same area of Texas that inspires the spirit of this local eatery. The BBQ sauce is sweet with a hint of spice, just like the rub on the brisket. We preferred the burnt ends for the flavor profile and texture. Sweet tea is also the way a Texan would make it. Nice and sweetly refreshing, but you can still taste the high quali-tea! I’m so glad we ended up finding this place on our road trip. We even grabbed another pound of burnt ends for leftovers. The best brisket either of us have had in a while! Fast and friendly service, too. No complaints!!! We loved it.

This is truly a 5-star eating experience. I got to pick my short rib all 2.4 pounds of it. The meat is sold by the pound, but that’s ok. I was there for the whole experience. The sides were just as amazing. It was a good atmosphere, very comfortable and relaxing. Great customer service. It’s a must try! They are also known for their awards won in Texas competition’s.

My family tried this place for the first time today. First, the service was excellent! We were given a few samples of meat to help us choose what we wanted, and the portions were weighed in front of us so we knew how much we were getting. All of the meat was delicious, my favorites were the pork belly burnt ends and pulled pork (FYI, I’m vegetarian ). The sides were great as well, I recommend the spicy mac and cheese and cole slaw. As a bonus, if you eat at the restaurant, you get free banana pudding!!

My first time here. I was a bit confused because they weight the food and then at the last that’s how much they charge you. We paid around $35 for 1 plate of food. But that was enough for me and my husband. There was a fly bothering us and the owner noticed and he was so kind to kill to it away from us! The food is good just not some of there sides. They do have soccer ⚽️ and football games playing on the tv. There is a lot of seating for big groups of family and friends! Will come back.

Listen, I’m from Texas. Fine, that doesn’t make me a BBQ expert, but it should give me some extra credence, right? THIS PLACE IS SERIOUSLY LEGIT!!! Just like some of the best BBQ places back in TX. Apparently the owner actually trained under Terry Black back in Austin. Incredible, tender, delicious ribs. Great sides like Spicy Mac & Cheese, potato salad and banana pudding. Highly recommend!

Totally delicious barbecue with great service. I went in in the morning for a breakfast burrito, it was so large that I had the other half for dinner. Sauce was delicious, tons of seating, tons of parking, I’ll definitely be back to eat more delicious food.

One word – ridiculous. Ridiculously good. Best Brisket I’ve had. Carved in front of us and the juices poured out. The sides are out of this world as well. Those beans? Forget about it. We will be back over and over and over. You gotta try it!

Absolutely delicious and well worth the price. This is by far the best BBQ we have found in CA and my family lived in Texas. 100% authentic taste, falls off the bone delicious. Their pulled pork is so moist and perfect and the sauce is great. Could not ask for better! Also the service is fast, friendly and generous! Gives a real family owned vibe that I adore!
