We were excited to try Hye Life after seeing the menu online so we drove out to Bellevue to check it out. It’s tucked into a strip mall with both indoor and outdoor seating. We got a table indoors and unfortunately they were out of some of the menu items we wanted. We ended up getting the fried khinkali, the BBQ ribs, and the BBQ sturgeon. Food was very good, especially the khinkali, but service could use a little improvement. The server was very friendly but at the same time spent quite a bit of time away from the table. We had wanted a refill on water and after waiting a while, we were able to flag someone down, who gave us a water jug that could’ve been on the table to start with. Nothing major, but it’s not a great experience when you’re thirsty and waiting for someone to check in on you. Other than that and missing menu items, everything was good and I feel comfortable recommending Hye Life. We will be back to try more things, the soup options looked particularly interesting.

Loved it! We had borsch, bouillon, olivie salad, beef and cherry dumplings, as well as a kebab that came with rice and veggies. All was fresh, the service was great, the price was more than reasonable. Would love to go back. The only thing I didn’t like, was the cherry dumplings filling, as it contained starch. Next time I will also ask for less butter in my dumplings.

Best food and atmosphere. If you’re looking for good tasty European food, this place is absolutely gem. They have (Ukrainian, Russian, Georgian, Armenian dishes). Everything is always fresh, good variety of deserts. Good for kids, cas they have kids menu also.

We finally got to eat here and the food was delicious. The staff were kind and helpful and patient with us. Lots of interesting and delicious looking things on the menu and everything we had tasted homemade. We will definitely be going back soon.

As someone who grew up in Russia, I missed Russian food here in Seattle. I was excited to try this new restaurant that serves dishes from Russian and Georgian cuisine. In particular, I was looking forward to have Georgian dumplings “khinkali” for dinner. The whole dining experience exceeded my expectations. The food is delicious, it tastes just like those homemade dishes made by mom with love at home. The customer service was outstanding. I felt very welcomed. They accommodated my dietary restrictions without any fuss. I ended up trying 3 dishes: soup kharcho, khinkali, and curd pancakes for dessert. After I took a bite, I ordered 4 more dishes to take home. The food was that good! Give this restaurant a chance! You won’t be disappointed!

This is the must come place to try out European delicious dishes! My list of favorites are borsch, Ukrainian pancakes and khachapuri adjarian and their honey cake is something out of this world! The place is very clean and neat. Our waitress Diana was very nice and friendly. I do recommend this place and definitely be back again as I did not yet try all the dishes.
