Mafia Pizza began in the spring of 2018, nestled by the banks of the Aucilla river in Ashville, Florida. In March of 2019, it was relocated to Monticello, Florida. A renovated 1940’s motorcourt became Mafia’s new larger home. Here nostalgia reigns with its brick exterior/interior walls to give an old world feel to the pizzeria. Mafia’s varied menu offers hand-spun pizzas from small to jumbo in size, pasta dishes with homemade sauces, a variety of subs, large salads plus salad bar, tender and juicy chicken wings and delicious deserts. We welcome you to enjoy our dishes by dining in or carrying out.

Food is great! Got the calzone today and it was filled with a lot of cheese and had a GREAT flavor of buttery garlic. Definitely will be back to get another one. Pizza is great too. Last 4 times I’ve been here, only once did I get good service. Today the had a lot of flies inside, need to get a pest company to get some fly lights to help control their flies. All and all, we’ll be back.

My daughter and I split the difference in distance to have lunch and visit together. Having cooked made from scratch home cooked meals for over 50 years I’ve never been a huge fan of restaurants BUT we found Mafia Pizza to be ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING‼️ I would give it 10 stars if I could. I had the shrimp po boy with homemade onion rings and my daughter a chicken wrap and salad bar. Everything was so fresh and the flavor excellent; seasoned to perfection. It’s a small quaint place and clean; very clean. That reflects on the commitment of the owner (he’s cute as a button). I can’t wait to make the hour drive to go back and eat here again. Very cool little place. Very good pizza, decent wings, impressive salad bar. The line is kind’ve blurred between table service and counter service so it gets a bit confusing. Located in a very cool historic building. Unfortunately, this in combination with the pizza ovens makes it very HOT in the summer. No worse than eating on an outdoor patio. Maybe add some fans for that fifth star, but we will be back!

Excellent pizza – had their Supreme. We are from New Haven, CT – home of Pepe’s and Sally’s apizza. Mafia pizza is in the same league – Highly Recommended. Sorry we couldn’t try your Drunken Mussels – they sound delicious. Perhaps next time when we are in the area.
