FIRST OF ALL, SHUT THE FRONT DOOR. This place was absolutely, hands down, the BEST pizza place I’ve ever had in ALL of Tennessee. I’m not even kidding. This is AUTHENTIC New York style pizza and worth every dang dime. Is it pricey? Yes. But, SO worth it! You definitely get what you pay for! My family and I will absolutely be returning.

**** UPDATE. No, sir, this isn’t a competitor review as you have insinuated. I have since found better pizza! Look at THAT review with the picture of their cheese drowned pizza! I leave great reviews when they are deserved. We tried to support your business. I looked forward to going there! You have cut back and cut back and put the BLAME GAME on everyone. However, it is your restaurant that has declined. Your restaurant is the one hurting. I am sad for you. You never offered to make it right to keep this customer coming back. Finally got to go and try the pizza. Had to wait 20 extra minutes for my pizza after I already ordered. But the wait was totally worth the price. I was looking for a good NY pizza in a constant failing town. Not only am I going to return but I’m going to tell everyone I know about it. As a fellow small business owner I understand it’s hard to keep it going now days, but I will support Jake’s pizza whenever I can and I would recommend you do also.(I just wish they were open more days and longer hours? It could extremely help there business.)

We hadn’t been to Jake’s in many years, but heard it changed into a pizza joint and decided to try it. We LOVED the pizza. We had the NY slice and Hot N Spicy, both extremely cheesy with a perfect thin crust. Plus, they had excellent homemade ranch and the tomato sauce tasted like tomatoes as it should, not like sugar. The table next to us got calzoni, and they were massive! I recommend going early or order online and do takeout though, because there’s very few tables.

Having a Beer while I wait for my order! How can you beat that!? I grew up in New Jersey and I’ve been in Tennessee for over 17 years. The scenery was so refreshing. It made me feel at home. The pizza was definitely a New York style pizza, Good, I still say New Jersey makes the best pizza I went back two weeks later to try out the burger and fries. It was the best.Old fashion and delicious! I can’t wait to try the prime rib.
