It’s was an incredible experience. My 1st review I must have had bad day. This visit they were so so accommodating. I had an awesome hamburger and fries. Plus the waitress (owners daughter). She went out of her way to assist me. Allowed me to bring my bike inside!!! I’m always afraid of it getting stolen or parts missing. Then she made me a fresh pot of coffee. Allowed me to leave it at the restaurant while I left to get a warmer coat at the nearby antique store. I road back to Greeley with my warm coat. I will be spending more time in this friendly city!

A long time local favorite. Our waitress was fantastic. The only wait person there and she handled it like a pro, super friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. A wide variety including Mexican, American, and even German. It doesn’t matter what you get, it will be great!

Great enchiladas but their crispy tacos are not very good. The shells look and taste like store bought. The beef filling did not have much flavor. It is worth noting that their menu has some interesting American food as well.

The Border Restaurant is a magnificent little hidden gem in downtown Windsor. It’s located along Main Street, close to Windsor Lake and is definitely worth trying out. Although it doesn’t look like much upon entering, the food is astounding, the service is friendly and very accommodating as well. If you’re like me, you don’t mind “a hole in the wall” type of place. Especially when the food is this great!!!! There’s a good variety of dishes to choose from. My go-to are the street tacos but every single thing I’ve ever had here is REALLY good. You can partner your meal with libations or the tried and true beverage options. The prices are also quite competitive. CHECK. IT. OUT.
