I got two tiny tacos and tamale instead of an enchilada combo for 9.99. Hubby got two bean and cheese burritos plus a couple of horchatas. 40 freaking dollars and the burritos were so much smaller than they have been in the past. Inflation sucks but the sad reality is I can’t afford to spend so much money for so little. It’s good to support small and local businesses but based on prior reviews it doesn’t seem like this place is being honest.

Coffee tasted like dish soap and I got really sick after eating breakfast there. Food also took an hour to come out, tasted subpar and when I brought the coffee to the attention of the cashier she told me everyone had the same coffee and there was nothing wrong with it.

Charged my husband $35 for 1 dozen tamales & an 8oz queso after he said he didn’t want it. Took $35 out of my bank account & hasn’t put it back yet. 1 star because this place is obviously a scam & has gone down hill. I definitely will not be returning & I’ll be letting people know.

Overpriced food. I decided to send my husband here since I was tired, and he doesn’t speak Spanish. These people charged $21 for tamales that were frozen. In what world has that ever been the price? Stop taking advantage of people. I want my $35.

Asked for red sauce enchiladas and when I got them from the drive thru went home and there was no sauce at all just a oily tortilla with cheese in it and then they wouldn’t do anything to fix it when I called

My personal opinion this is the best place in lufkin for breakfast. The eggs rancheros is amazing . The price is reasonable. The staff are amazing. I’ve been coming here for about two years now I’ve never had bad service or bad food. Ten stars.
