This place is excellent. It is a bit pricey especially for lunch, but wow it is deserved. Texas toothpicks and fried pickle appetizers were fantastic. Fresh. And pickles are cut into spears, which is nice. Ordered medium rib plate. Hade about 7-8 ribs. Perfect smoke flavor along with great texture to the ribs. BBQ sauce was a vinegar based. Very good. The au gratin potatoes cost a little more than other sides but are super delicious. Sweet tea was also amazing! Fresh hot towels after the meal is a nice bonus. Staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back. Only upset that I haven’t tried it before. Hell of an establishment.

Great lunch that was easy on the wallet. This cheeseburger was awesome! A friend was explaining it was the “BEST BURGER IN TOWN”… now I consider myself a foodie and that statement can’t be true. With a skeptical opinion I entered and left with a completely different impression of Country Tavern. The burger is really really really good. It is not my BEST BURGER IN TOWN but geez… considering the environment, the pricing and overall construction… it is THE BEST BURGER ANYWAY NEAR $10 BUCKS! It is a GREAT LUNCH place now for my wife and I. I am thrilled I was introduced to it.

The best steak I have ever had. Food was so good. Had to take dessert Togo. Service was great and we literally were only there for 30 minutes. Food was out so fast and everything was perfect.

The food was of the most excellent nature The ribs were absolutely wonderfully well cooked the seasoning absolutely perfect they had an amazing taste texture all by themselves but when you add the barbecue sauce it produces an amazing completely different mesquite-like taste to the ribs. The au gratin potatoes were absolutely fantastic as well not to mention that even something so basic is the onion rings were perfectly cooked and complimented to meal well The potato salad was absolutely fantastic. The wait staff also was extremely professional very courteous and a pleasure to sit there and talk to as well. I cannot stress how amazingly good the food is. The turkey and the brisket were absolutely wonderful The turkey was completely tender, moist and it had a wonderful smoked flavor to it. unfortunately all I can give this review is five stars if I could give it more I would double it. The food quality is simply that amazing. The banana pudding even after dinner with its homemade cookies and mousse like banana pudding was just an absolutely wonderful compliment to the meal.

Food is terrific! However the last 2 times they were out of the beef! We left. One day it was on a Monday evening at 5:30. The other day it was Saturday night at 6 pm. They can’t keep running out of food so early in the day……So several weeks later we gave it another try! So glad we did!!! GREAT ribs and brisket!!!! Best smoky flavor and BBQ sauce is fantastic!!!! Their side Mashed Potatoes are great, but too expensive. French fries are good too. We have started getting the meat to go so we can eat at home. I fix a side. You can get more meat for the savings!! LOVE this food!
