The only good thing I can say is the delivery was fast. I ordered chicken and broccoli…. The chicken was not good and the egg rolls were not fresh. I called for a refund and they would not give a refund without having the food returned so I invited them to send a driver to pick it up. It used to be so good!

Zero stars for Chen Express. Chen Express is the worst Chinese restaurant in the city. The rice was old and dry with no vegetables in it, the soup was bland and tasted like hot sewer water. There were missing items from my order and the wings had a very strong, tainted funny taste. The lady I spoke with over the phone was rude and condescending. I will make sure everyone I know and work with at the hospital are aware of my disappointing and unacceptable experience with Chen Express. I will never patronize this restaurant again. The drive to Trussville is well worth it for high quality Chinese food where the restaurant values your business and experience there.

Food was not good at all. The only decent thing was the fried rice. The sesame chicken sauce is more like sweet and sour sauce. The egg roll and crab ragoons were very bad. Not sure if it was the oil that was used or the actual meat itself.

Hate doing this but the experience was bad enough to warrant a review. Found a bug in the egg roll – Got the bill with a measly 10% off. Did not even omit the cost of the egg roll and/or spring roll. One guy working the phones, cash register, waiting tables…he is the only reason for the additional star.
