We are from North Carolina but were in the area for a wedding and were looking for a good place for lunch. We found this place on Google Maps and decided to try it out. The food was delicious and the staff was VERY friendly. Definitely recommend the Smother Fries and Banana Pudding! We love little country places like this and will definitely be back if we are ever in the area again.

Sunday buffet is great! Usually they have a choice of 3 meats, often chicken tenders, as well as some country vegetables, usually fried okra, beans, mashed potatoes, and other options. They have a choice of cornbread, Mexican cornbread, or roll, and you can have tea or a soft drink. Desserts are often cobbler, cake, banana pudding or other pudding. You can also order off the menu. Very friendly and helpful family-run business.

Food was okay, but the hours are terrible! It’s as if they avoid any simmolance of decent hours. You want to go at 4, it will close at 3. Not exact, but an honest representation of how terrible the hours are. Was pulling in to eat there, and upon entering, saw an employee being publicly fired. Terrible business practices, especially to yell at a teenager– that’s someone’s kid! They need to straighten up. Next time I come through here on business, I’ll eat in Winfield instead!

I always get the hamburger here. They make it with real meat and it is so good! You will have a wait here and its frustrating if your starving lol, but you will really enjoy your food when you get it.
