Delicious food and friendly servers! I ordered the traditional pho, and my daughters ordered the basil chicken with rice and egg and chicken nuggets and fries. The food presentation was good if compared to gourmet restaurants, but it was great for a family restaurant. The food tasted perfect! My pho tasted authentic! It reminded me of my Mom’s cooking. By the way, I cook Asian food a lot, and I know their food were prepared using fresh ingredients. I could taste the difference. I apologize for the photos, we already started eating before I took the photos, so their food presentation was not really captured.

Small tiny lovely place, very friendly staff, delicious food. It is hard to find really good Thai/Laos around here. This place is perfect!! I can’t wait to come back & try more dishes.

Just moved to South Elgin from Batavia and have been to all the best Thai places in Chicago and more I’m confident. I lived in Hawaii along many Asians for over 10 years so feel I know what’s up. Tried this randomly by searching online and went for it. Was glad to see lot of local Asians eating there that’s always a good sign. Hearing someone order papaya salad was also a good sign. It’s a Thai staple and many places that claim to be Thai don’t offer that dish and very lame to me at least.

Food is consistent. Shrimp spring rolls were good. Thai iced coffee was strong….Mango sticky rice was outstanding.

One of the best Thai food I had. Fresh ingredients, loaded with flavor and meat cooked to perfection.

We ordered the drunken noodles, basil fried rice, and pad voon sen. They were all good, but it was nothing miraculous for my palette. I think they could’ve used some added spice in their dishes.

I’m currently eating here as I post this. At the risk of coming up hyperbolic… the Mee Kua Ladna Combo is probably one of the top 10 things I’ve ever eaten in my life. Absolutely amazing. You can taste how fresh the vegetables are and all the meat is cooked expertly. Perfection!

Sorry. Nice people, but the place felt as if it had no air conditioning. Not a nice atmosphere. You sit in the booth and the cushion no longer had much padding. Ouch! The pork skewers were hard as a rock. Completely inedible. The cashew chicken was not particularly tasty and the chicken seemed cheap and stringy. Very few cashews. I’d have let this go, but I frequent Thai restaurants and this uncomfortable and dingy hole in the wall was at least as expensive if not more so than the adorable, great tasting places closer to Chicago. Terribly disappointing! My partner and I were really turned off. Very sweet server, though.
