I visited Masa Sushi soon after they opened. Wasn’t impressed. Poor service and mediocre sushi.

More variety on the menu than any other place in town. Very generous sashimi meat portions. Super friendly staff. The only reason I gave 5 stars is because I can’t give them 10 stars!

I have been to many sushi buffet restaurants. I daresay Masa is the best sushi buffet in South Lincoln. The restaurant is clean and tidy, the service is thoughtful and meticulous, and the food is exquisite and delicious. The pictures and design of the menu are distinctive like my trip on Japan years ago. My server, Stephanie, was a young college girl and I really appreciated her taking care of our large family during such a busy dinner time. Everything we ordered was served right, which is rare at a buffet. It was definitely an unforgettable memory and satisfying experience for me!!!

Slow service getting a buffet. They wrap each roll fresh on order so it takes a while to get the food brought to you. They charge $1 for each piece of sushi left on plate plus 18% gratuity on each piece. If you don’t plan on eating a lot, don’t eat there. 28.99 a buffet plate.

Excellent first walk-in experience! Service was excellent. Atmosphere was great. Phenomenal food from the kitchen; crab Rangoon, crab stuffed mushrooms, cucumber salad, salmon skin salad. The rolls were lackluster, great ingredients, just missing something. I look forward to coming back soon to try some dinners and check out the rolls again. DO NOT PASS UP THIS ALL YOU CAN EAT EXPERIENCE!

Perhaps not my favorite sushi in Lincoln, but it’s a very solid choice, particularly if you’re in this part of town. The prices all seemed reasonable as sushi goes, but my friends and I opted for the all-you-can-eat option for $29 per person or so. Between the three of us, we somehow managed to eat 9 rolls, 6 appetizers, a salad, an entree, and three fried cheesecakes and three different ice creams. We’re absolutely stuffed, but feel we definitely got our money’s worth. The only roll we would probably not do again is the Gorilla, which happened to be our last roll and likely the reason it was our collective least favorite – we simply had too much. The pork katsu was super crispy but I would have preferred the chicken version over udon, but the curry sauce was really tasty.

Absolutely love this place! Wonderful atmosphere, and fantastic food! My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the fried rolls less greasy and the huge rolls like the Jumbo Shrimp and Gorilla roll a fair amount smaller. This would help ensure eating there is pleasant for everyone.

This was our first time trying this all you can eat sushi restaurant. We were a little leary about the price, but really glad we tried it. There were so many good options. And plenty of appetizers to choose from. There was even good options for my 2 year old nephew! We definitely got our fill and our monies worth!

The staffs were fine. She just seemed really not happy with us all the time….But the food…was not good, to be honest. I’ve been to many sushi restaurants, including some in Omaha & Lincoln. I was really excited for this one, too. Anyway, the biggest thing I hate about my experience was that they have lots of snow crabs on their menu. My partner love snow crab so we ordered a bunch of snow crab related dishes. And it turns out that all of them were imitation crab aka fake crab. I didn’t expect it to be like this because it’s 31 dollars per person and all of the other sushi restaurants I’ve been to tells customers that it’s imitation crab ON THE MENU. Also, 80% of their sushi included crab….The sashimi wasn’t that good, either. Plus all of the eel sauce was SO SALTY. I am not trying to be mean. These are my real thoughts after spending 70+ dollars on this meal. I am just really sad and disappointed.

Very good sushi! It was fresh and tasty. I went with the 3 roll lunch combo, and the rolls were a bit smaller than expected. But, they do have an all you can eat option which seems like would be the way to go. I’ll definitely be back.
