10 on 10 how the place takes you away from the busy and mechanical life, the garden seating area with individual cabins are unique.

As a Nepali, I approve of this place in terms of food, ambience and great service. Great little outdoor booths and very tasty momos. Definitely recommend. Best Nepali restaurant in Portland, Oregon.

Delicious chicken curry, ate it up too fast for a picture! He gave us a really fresh hot pepper sauce with it. I could tell the chai was made with whole spices resulting in balanced flavor, not too strong. I got both items for just $11.50 and the booths are comfy to hang out in. Highly recommend this spot!

Absolutely delightful Nepali restaurant! Reasonable prices, and the flavors in their food are a direct ticket to Nepal. Can’t wait to return for more!

Oh yeah – so many kinds of tasty momos and a few other things, I can’t wait to come back and try some more! Very quaint and relaxing setting to get off the bike and enjoy some chai in little huts.

What a fantastic place to stumble across. I was really taken by how well this place does in creating an amazing experience. The food was delicious with generous portions, the flavors were delightful, and the story behind this place is really cool. They’ve turned their home into a Nepalese sanctuary of sorts, building all these little breezy, enclosed cabanas around their property for you to choose as your dining area. It feels like a little oasis. A truly unique experience, and one I’m going to be returning to again and again. This is now my favorite place to eat in Portland, it feels so good to support this place. I’ve lived here for 20 years, and this is not to be missed.

I read the story behind this place somewhere and was intrigued. The ambience of this place definitely draws you in. The fact that the family built those little pods in their backyard all by themselves is pretty commendable. I just kept admiring the craftsmanship and little details everywhere. The food came pretty quickly. We happened to be there on a rainy December day which isn’t the best weather to enjoy a place like this. But it definitely made us appreciate the warm momos and tea even more. But if I had to judge the food more objectively, it was missing something. Like I feel like I won’t want to go back for just the food. But still, a wonderful concept.

Truly a unique experience! I couldn’t quite tell from the descriptions here, but this is essentially a food window connected to a beautiful garden area to sit in the open as well as private little booths to sit in with your party to eat and chat. The atmosphere is incredible. We tried food as well as chai and both were delicious. Will definitely be back, this is the perfect place for a relaxing meal!
