The food at this chain is dependably good – we enjoy every location we visit. The restrooms here were clean. It’s right off the interstate, so an easy place for a quick lunch stop when traveling.

The food was good, and the service was good, however this location needs some help! I know hiring workers is hard right now, but there were only a couple employees in the store and it was obvious they couldn’t keep up with the customers. They were doing their best and extremely polite and helpful (as much as they could be flying around the restaurant) but they REALLY need some help.

Stopped in on Mother’s day coming home from St. Louis. Joe and his crew had the large amount of customers happy and under control. Food was wonderful and service was fast for a holiday. Restaurant and restrooms were clean. Hopefully the store opening near us will be as good.

We had been on the road for 13 hours, checked into the nearby hotel, and needed to eat. I was not familiar with McAlister’s, but location made our dinner choice easy. While my husband took the car to get gas, I ordered online for pick-up. The process was extremely easy and the order was ready and waiting when he got there 15 minutes later. My husband ordered the Reuben, which was packed with tons of corned beef. Our daughter got the BLT + Avocado and she scarfed down her food. I got the Spicy Turkey Melt. I loved the toasty bread and the tenderness of the meat, but I would not describe this as spicy in the least bit. The potato salad side was fantastic!! It was mustardy just like we like it. The tomato cucumber side was just okay— way too many big chunks of red onion that overpowered. Overall, this was a fun find, a satisfying meal, and I’d definitely try them again.

Unexpected lesser experience for this particular location. Didn’t prepare order correctly, Didn’t provide accurate sides, facility looked unattended (main area and restroom) needed attention. Main counter was very friendly, attentive (initially) and attempted to correct poorly prepared meal. Just kind of let down overall.

My girlfriend and I order here weekly. When we first started coming the food was hot, bread was toasted and basic stuff wasn’t forgotten on a sandwich. Now we come here and order two jalapeño turkey crunch sandwiches and they have no bacon on them and they’re cold. And this isn’t the first time. Luckily the chips were on it because normally I have to go inside and ask for them. I receive the bacon that should’ve been on the sandwich and it’s like it just came out of the cooler not even heated up. This place is going so downhill it’s sad. Lousy, lazy, and irresponsible kitchen workers to say the very least. Absolutely pathetic, not to mention it takes 30 minutes to get two sandwiches everytime we come through! Figure it out or close this abomination so the building can be used for something useful.

These guys were suffering with a lack of employees when we stopped in. However the ones that were there, just kept at it no matter how impatient customers were. The food was well prepared and fresh and the place was clean. I would definitely eat here again.
