Don’t waste your time or money in this place. Looks are absolutely deceiving. It’s a real cute diner, but that aside; their service is terrible. No drinks for the first 30 minutes, then told we have wait to order our food, she doesn’t come back for another 20 minutes. Seriously? Sitting for nearly an hour with no food. Our food finally gets to the table. Of course the order is wrong. No one comes by so we can notify them. Food is nothing special and overpriced for what you get. So, if you’d like you wait 90+ minutes for 2 grilled cheese and a hot dog and be out $30, this is your place!

Yo, this place has some serious good chile! I recommend the red, which is always popping, but the green has a good flavor as well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the smothered breakfast burrito. If you’re in the mood for a burger or hot dog, they are delicious also. Even the chef salad I ordered was big & even had fresh avocado & delicious home made italian dressing. The iced tea actually has a “tea flavor” (not like the watered down tea that is ubiquitous here in town). Staff is SUPER DOPE, & ALWAYS takes care of me. Especially during the extremely rare times that my food is not up to par. They go above & beyond & even make the order over again, no questions asked. I am EXTREMELY picky with my chile. My favorites have always been Smiling Faces & Olivia’s. However, Dave’s Diner can actually compete with them. I think our town should do a “chile-off” competition. Smiley’s, Olivia’s & Dave’s. That’s how good Dave’s chile is!!!

We ordered hand held breakfast burritos, the food was out really fast and the staff was very friendly. The food was amazing and great portions for a great price. Definitely looking forward to coming back!
