The young kid who took our order was so nice but couldn’t answer any questions we had. The food was pretty good though! The falafel was crunchy inside..the crispy cheese log things were so good!

My husband took me last night for my birthday dinner. The building is quite unassuming and a bit deceptive. When we stepped thru the door we were quite surprised and pleased. It is a small, cozy restaurant with linen cloths and napkins. The service was excellent as was our meal. There was quiet music playing in the background that didn’t interfere with our conversation. The price was very reasonable. We got 2 entrees and an appetizer for under $45. We are already planning our next visit.

We decided to have a late lunch here while visiting the area. Once we were there, some people of our company suggested to leave because the outside looked unappealing. I insisted on “not judging the book by a cover” and give it a try since reviews are very good. Every one of our company was glad we gave this restaurant a chance. The food was amazingly delicious. The service was very fast. The atmosphere was great. They even allowed us to bring in our dog. Overall everybody wished to have this restaurant in our area since we would be often guests. We will definitely be back if we ever go to that area again.

I am not quite sure why this place isn’t more busy when I go in there because their food is off the charts good. This does not have a super modern decor so it could be a little deceiving to what absolutely awesome food they are preparing on the inside but I will put it up against any of the amazing places I have eaten in Center City and surrounding areas. I ordered take this time. The portions are generous and the food is super fresh and delicious. Definitely enough for two meals here. One of my favorite places close by to eat.

Having lived in Turkey years ago, we developed a love of the cuisine. We discovered Family Mediterranean Cuisine while visiting the Philadelphia area (Pitman, NJ). It was delicious! Authentic Turkish cuisine; we had the Döner kabob and the chicken kabob. Awesome meal and friendly service.

Wow! It is easy to overlook this gem, but if you do, you will be missing out on some of the most delicious food in not only Pitman, but all of South Jersey. Again, the outside and inside may not look like much, but the quality of the food and attentiveness of service more than make up for it. We had yogurt chicken and yogurt lamb kebabs and they were so delicious! In fact, despite being meats we have eaten many times, they did not quite taste like anything we have eaten in all of our decades on this earth, but only because they were so well cooked and seasoned. Kudos to the kitchen staff! Kudos to the wait staff! We will be back, again and again! P.S. the dessert was equally delicious! Baklava that had us in heaven! Thank you!

We just ate at Family Mediterranean Cuisine and it was terrific. It is Turkish in style and I am starting to think the Turks make the best Middle Eastern food. I cannot wait to go back. We tried everything and from the appetizers to dessert it was great.
