Great locally owned & operated place for a hot dog or burger. Don’t let the long line scare you-its a very busy place but the line moves quickly and food is also ready quickly too. We had foot longs with chili, slaw mustard and onions. They were great!

Solid dogs at reasonable prices. Milkshakes and covered fries are also delicious. Haven’t had a chance to try the burgers or other sandwiches, but everything looked good coming out. The inside dining experience is a little stale and I wish they had more outdoor seating, but I think their main business is take out so not a huge deal.

Loved everything! Super nice, I lost track of time and at 800 we went to get ice cream from the front and they said it was already closed down for the evening… my bad. next time I’ll stay on top of it because I love the banana chocolate shakes and the kids like the ice cream cones. I had a slaw and chili burger, tots W chili and cheese are DELICIOUS!!! wish I had taken a picture to post with. Now they also accept cards, for many years growing up was only cash…. do yourself a favor and check out this “hometown” favorite!

This place has great food. The chili dogs are awesome. I came here often when I lived here and make sure I visit whenever I’m in town. This place is part of Hendersonville, N. C. and has been for many years. If you’re in the area you really need to experience the old time diner atmosphere and very good food. They have something for everyone.
