I sat at the bar. The bartender is excellent. I had margaritas along with a make shift combo. Id like to get a fresh glass with a salt brim instead of refilling my glass. When you order the make your own, all the Ala carte items are pretty small. I asked for the hot salsa, and it was flavorful, just not much of a bite. I went up Maumelle Blvd a couple of times before I settled on this place. Good, not great.

Atmosphere is pleasant and the service was good. I asked to taste the Verde sauce before ordering and they brought the sauce out for me to try. All of the food came out correct and hot and we had a party if 5. We will come and eat again.

Food was good. I’m from Texas and our food is a little bit more spicy but the food was worth the money. Good salsa and GREAT service. If I’m ever back in that area I’d eat there again.

I got my drink order taken right away. Then I sat there for another 20 minutes without anyone taking my order. Only one other customer in the restaurant. I ask a waitress if someone would take my order. She basically ignored me. 10 minutes later I paid for my drink and went to another restaurant. When I left three employees were sitting at a table rolling silverware. I told them why I was leaving. They could not have cared less.

Food was just okay, their portions seem a little small unless you are getting nachos or a taco salad. Our waitress was trash, as soon as she got another table in her area she basically abandoned our table and all we need was the check. We literally waited about 20 minutes and then she came with the other tables food, I got her attention and she said “I’ll be with you in a minute I have to handle them first”! Huh! So when she finally brought the check I grabbed it and walked to the front register because I knew if we waited for her to come back and cash us out it would be another 20 minutes

My boyfriend liked his pork burrito. My first pick was the enchiladas but was served with a hair. The ground beef and beans had no flavor. Then I got chicken tacos which came out cold, cheese wasn’t melted, and chicken was cold. And the rice was bland. And the pork tamale tasted microwaved. The chips and salsa were just okay.

Food was half the portion of any other Mexican restaurant I go to and cost more. Food was good, service wasn’t that great server came by 2x in the hour we were there, we had to ask for more chips and drinks, and in that hour 15 plus minutes was spent waiting on them to bring us our check to pay.

Food portions were half of any other Mexican restaurant I’ve ever had, although it was good. Additionally, they only filled the salsa bowl half way. I sat at the bar and if you aren’t Hispanic or a “regular” don’t expect good service from the young lady working. I gave it two stars because the portion was tasty, but I won’t return.
