Was at Tom Hannahfan River’s Edge Park and saw a sign outside so decided to stop in. The owner was there and very friendly. They have breakfast, coffee and a bar on the weekend evenings. Drink special was great. They make a lot of things homemade to include their cheesecake which the owner was nice enough to let us sample. Definitely stop by if you’re at the park or walk the pedestrian bridge from Omaha!

Paid $13 for the Tex mex bowl and there was no chicken in it. I thought maybe I’d miss read the menu but looking back it was definitely supposed to come with chicken. Also no grains, and a few chunks of avocado. I essentially got some lettuce and black bean corn salsa in a bowl.

I don’t normally like to leave bad reviews. Especially to a place just starting out but our experience for breakfast here was less than desirable. The location and building itself are nice. My husband and I went and ordered the Force of nature sandwich and the healthy start bowl and two coffee drinks. The coffee drinks were okay and made correctly. The sandwich I received had bacon, cheese and egg. No greens or green onion as stated. It was still good just not what I ordered. The healthy start bowl was a mix of salad, egg, peppers and onions with no grains in site and a bug in the bottom of the bowl. I understand bugs can happen but this was not a small fruit fly or gnat you can sometimes find in a kitchen. The staff was helpful and apologetic. They were unable to figure out how to refund us electronically but did so in cash. We love to support local. Sad to see an establishment have issues so early on. Hope they can make some improvements.

I came here for the first time yesterday and I will say I was not impressed with the customer service at all. The employee working the register was not friendly at all. Very awkward with the demeanor of not wanting to be there. It says to ask for the flavor of the day lemonade and when I was confused if that was the only choice I was given a very dismissive stare and unwelcoming tone as if I was incompetent for asking. The place is very nice and well put together but the customer service I received most definitely ruined my experience. As I continued to order, my girlfriend ordered a parfait. As it says on the menu. “Parfait with fruit AND granola.” When we received the order from another employee I immediately noticed no granola. I immediately confronted the employee very nicely, suggesting there was suppose to be granola with the parfait as it says directly on the menu. The employee shot me a puzzled look as the other employee who helped me at the register shot us a very dismissive gaze. The employee serving our order then argues, “granola is sold separately”. I kindly remind the employee, “well it does state clearly on the menu it’s comes with fruit AND granola no extra charge stated anywhere or mentioned. The employee serving us our order did quickly and kindly reconsider and immediately ran to the BOH to grab granola but then reminded us “I’ll just give it to you for free.” I find that comment strange as again it states on the menu the parfait comes with granola. What really frustrated me is during this exchange of the granola, the first employee who helped us at the register deliberately stared us down with such a scowl until we left the building as if to make us feel we were in the wrong. I do not appreciate this type of service especially from a new place of business. As of right now I would not recommend this place to anyone until resolved. I also live in the apartments right next door, so this is a soil to our community experience as I found it so pleasing to see a cafe open so close. If management does take these reviews seriously you may try to reach out to resolve.

Super cute, very chill vibe. All the windows and outdoor seating give way to the beautiful, west facing view. The daily flavor (pineapple) lemonade was very refreshing. Having an open café so close to Bob the Bridge on the Iowa side is absolutely prefect!

Customer Service is absolutely the worst. Arrived and found sticky note on the door, closed due to power outage. Lights were on, the employees sitting inside talking. Was advised to return in an hour. It was 105 outside, asked to purchase bottled water and was told NO !
