I give this 5 stars because the entire experience was wonderful! We were seated and asked what meat we’d like to have and our drinks We ordered the beef and the chicken. It was all delicious and big portions! Our server had several tables but she kept our drinks full, was friendly and let us know the status of our food. The hotel and restaurant were very clean and beautiful. You can tell the food was homemade and quality made. And the ice cream was a special added touch.

They do have a beef option, but I love, love their fried chicken. Family style dining. Famous sides are corn and coleslaw (and mashed potatoes and gravy)

Our server was great and the atmosphere is very nice. But the food is not the old Brookville. Cream corn was not good. Chicken was average. The steak patty was similar to a meat loaf. And for 23 a person I expected our food to be better. Sorry to say that but true.

$23.00 for hamburger steak. That is crazy. Steak had no flavor, mashed potatoes were gummy, gravy had no flavor. Corn, Cole slaw, biscuits and ice cream were good.

The chicken dinner was absolutely phenomenal. If you leave hungry here then it’s your own fault. They give you the option for more sides to be brought out as you eat them. They give you a huge amount of chicken even for one person. The staff was friendly and they made it a point to communicate with us as to how long it was until our food came out. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. My friends and I will definitely be returning. Thanks for the great food and great experience. ☺️

A very nice place but the food was all dry had no service never got a drink the whole time I was there and on top of that they charged me a gratuity of 20% for waiting service I never got lol.
