Tonight, I got a hoagie. My first one in years. I got it home, unwrapped it and couldn’t wait to enjoy some nostalgia. The problem? There’s half as much meat as their used to be. Even the cheap bologna is paper thin, I could see the shadow of my finger through it. And there is no flavor. Hardly any oil. What a disappointment. I can’t believe people still rave about these. Kittanning is a depressing place anymore, a place I rarely venture to, now I have one less reason to go there.

Now this place is a local landmark. I dare say that there is not one person in the surrounding area that hasn’t eaten here. I crave their food. I remember mom always ordering the tuna with onions and hot. Whatever that meant. That’s the way I get them and would eat two daily. Great local eatery. My only complaint is the hours. Make them realistic. People eat after 7

Ordered to go. But I have been eating at Miller’s for over 30 years and it never disappoints. I live half hour away but drove over to take my daughter for lunch and it was worth the food and memories!!

Miller’s is an Armstrong county staple. You can’t say you truly experienced Armstrong until you have experienced their hoagies. They have a unique seasoning they add to their regulars that make them especially delicious.
