Small restaurant serving a few different curries. The staff are all pretty young which is nice to see the owner supporting local young adults, they do a fine job as well. Friendly and efficient.

Great food and service. The food comes with a “spicy” ranking 1-10. I’m not a Spicy person and got the level 3 the first time ( was cautioned away from 5 (great rec)). It was spicy. The second time we ordered take out we got the level 2 of 10 and really enjoyed it. My wife is a huge fan of the is Japanese condiments, chips, peas etc.

As growing up in Japan, one of my favorite dish was katsu curry (curry with cutlet). I could not believe that I can taste it in Beaufort. I order level 3 out of 10 and was bit too spicy for me but had great flavor. I also order gyoza (dumpling). It was most authentic (crispy on bottom and juicy inside). I certainly go back soon!

It didn’t look like much but those looks were deceiving. The best curry I’ve had on the eastcoast. you got to go Northwest to compete with these guys. Keep up the good work and keep that flavor rolling.

The quintessential hole-in-the-wall eatery that has basically 5 menu items that they do really, really well. I had the Japanese lunch combo to-go, which came with a lot of food: two pieces of garlic naan, chicken cutlet, a ton of rice, and a large tub (12oz?) of Japanese curry. I love spicy food, I lived in Korea for 4 years and love a heat that will cause you to sweat and your nose to run. I tried a 5/10 spice level and it was plenty hot. I would definitely recommend starting at a 5 your first time … unless you’re trying to do a spice challenge with your friends. I can’t imagine what spice levels 7-10 would be like… they should probably have a waiver and ambulance ready.

Excellent food and oustanding service. 5 stars all the way. The japanese curry was amazing and the tuxedo cake the owner recommended for dessert was to die for. I’d add a picture but it didn’t even make it home it was so delicious. We enjoyed D&D Curry so much we’ve already made plans to come back next week. Thank you for an amazing experience

This place is a hidden gem. The quality of the flavor in the traditional Japanese curry is amazing, the garlic butter naan is out of this world, and the bubble tea is delicious! Plus, the staff is incredible and can answer any question you might have. Definitely recommend!
