The food came out very hot which was nice as it remained warm throughout my entire meal. The 13 Spices was my favorite seasoning as it was Asian inspired and had an intense flavor profile. The Garlic Cajun was a little bland while the NOLA style was just butter dipping sauce. A few of the crawfish were mushy, but most of them were fresh. Others items I tried, such as blue crab and fried catfish basket were good too. Lastly, I didn’t get chance to do the all you can eat option, but it’s definitely worth exploring if they have fresh seafood in stock.

All you can eat crawfish?! Had to try it out since my wife is an addict. Was good but pretty heavy, felt like I clogged my arteries. Also got drinks and fries. Price ended up being how much we’d spend per pound anyways except we had to stuff our faces.

Upon entering, the initial impression was welcoming and enticing. The ambiance was accompanied by a pleasant aroma, complemented by tasteful depictions of dishes on the walls. This visual presentation heightened our anticipation for the dining experience. However, upon crossing into the dining area, the ambiance drastically shifted from inviting to a colder and less appealing atmosphere. The reception from our waiter further contributed to this underwhelming environment, as their demeanor lacked enthusiasm. In retrospect, I am uncertain as to why we chose to proceed with our dining plans under these circumstances.

I was pleasantly surprised with my visit and thought their pricing was really fair, especially if you choose the all you can eat option ($38/person max of three rounds). We ordered 9 lbs of crawfish and 2 lbs of shrimp with added sausage and corn… in their Cajun mix and volcano spicy level. It was really good! The size of their crawfish were big compared to other restaurants in the area.

This place was not as advertised. It was not Cajun in any sense. While the fry on the catfish was technically correct, in the way that it was cornmeal, the fish was so bad that we were scared to eat it all. Catfish can sometimes taste a little muddy, but this catfish was clearly past its due date. We were warned about poor service based on prior reviews, and that held true. If you want your crawfish, boiled like you do in Louisiana, don’t come here. If you want any spice or flavoring other than water, it will come in a bag and it’s shaken. I usually try to leave a positive with my reviews, but I am at a loss to find something to recommend about this place.

It is such great disappointment to drive an hour for AYCE crawfish. Their AYCE is $38 + tax per person, which we do not mind paying for. However, ever since they changed owner and the new management took over, their AYCE crawfish is graded and they are in smaller size. They also changed their ingredients. We typically order the spicy Cajun and it was not up to par. Last night, as we ate, the baby crawfish kept breaking when we de-shell. I ended up not finishing my second round.

1st time here, and we will be back! Bear Bay offers and AYCE option that covers most shellfish. Outside of the usual boil sides they offer mushrooms & broccoli. The sauces were flavorful, and add a great kick to the dishes!

This is one of my top 3 favorite crawfish/seafood places. Like all 3 are tied for 1st because of the unique flavors. We get the crawfish in 13 spices spicy sauce and love it. Service was slow today but it’s usually better, food came out piping hot and tasted amazing. I do wish they’d slice the sausage but we bring our own tools so it was fine. We also enjoyed the shrimp.

Took my mother for Sat lunch and had oysters and the Cajun medium spice crawfish. Oysters were fresh and plump and the crawfish came out piping hot and tasted like the ones we used to eat in Mississippi. It was so good! I def don’t mind going back. It does take a bit to get your food so it can be a long meal!

Came for the AYCE option, which is a FANTASTIC deal. You are limited to three rounds, but are not limited in any way to the amount you order per round. I had the Cajun style for my first round, which was pretty good — it was some kind of spiced sauce. My other two rounds were Nola style which was my FAVORITE, reminded me of the crawfish I’m used to back home. Crawfish were big and juicy. I can’t wait to go again!
