This is a nice, quaint, small restaurant and package store. Lots of cold draft beers to choose from. Pretty extensive selection of other local microbreweries are available also. The food was delicious, prepared well and plated nicely. The serving sizes were good. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable of what’s on the menu as well as what’s on draft. I highly recommend this place. Nice quiet meal where you can have great conversation with the other members of your party. They also have wonderful outdoor seating.

On a Sunday evening, my boyfriend and I had dinner at Knowles Station Wine & Co, a beer and wine bar with a kitchen and a retail shop. By the time we arrived (around 7pm), it was not as crowded as the lady on the phone described. There was no wait for a table. Our server Tony gave us waters while we waited for our food and drinks.

Extremely happy this place has come to Kensington. The best fried pickles EVER! (Seriously, not playing around). The green goddess dipping sauce My wife and I also had the shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were excellent. Very big, very fresh, great taste. Our issue with this was the dipping sauce/cocktail sauce. Highly recommend you add horseradish. We then ordered the fish tacos, pork belly steam buns, and roasted pork sandwich. I will start with our least favorite which was the roasted pork sandwich. The pork and steak jus are excellent however the cheese (provolone) completely overpowers the sandwich. This was our least favorite item that we had. Recommend switching cheeses. The rockfish fish tacos are Ridiculously good. I devoured them and I’m not a big fish person. They have a crispy flour homemade tortilla with a spicy slaw and pico de gallo. Highly recommend! Last the steam pork buns are out of this world. Perfectly cooked pork belly, delicious slaw, fresh cilantro, and kimchi. The beer/wine selection is excellent. Service was great. The reason for four stars and not five is because of the roasted pork sandwich cheese was so overpowering it wasn’t edible unless you like a mouth full of cheese. Hope to change to a five star on next review as we plan on being back many times!!! Love

A great new bar/beer and wine store in Kensington. They have a surprisingly draft beer selection for such a small bar that features local breweries. Their menu is full of serious food like their grilled chicken club and (surprisingly large) burger. The onion rings with their tangy horseradish(?) sauce is a must. Although I don’t think they have a Happy Hour yet, this could work very nicely for drinks and dinner after work, especially if you like whatever game is on the TV.

Knowles is always consistent in food and drink service, I NEVER have to wait to be taken care of. The food provides an array of tastes that keep me coming back to try new things! I don’t like that they switch beers, but then I do like it because I tend to find a taste I never knew was out there.

Great wine and local beer selection. The pork belly sliders are awesome and lightly battered onion rings are amazing. So glad to have this new option in the neighborhood. Indoor, outdoor and upstairs seating. Plus bar with 65 inch screens.

I didn’t hate this place, but I wouldn’t come back. Snacks were good and service was good. Bubbly was super flat and the wine pours are very, very small (like less than 5oz). Beer selection is good!

Great place for light meal with decent selection of local beers and wines. For a weekday lunch, my friend and I enjoyed the pork belly bun (the 2 sliders were tasty but seemed like a fairly small portion) and the BBQ pulled pork sandwich with some crispy onion rings. I savored the Gold Line pilsner from Silver Branch while my friend enjoyed a glass of a Virginia chardonnay.
