It’s been a very long time since I’ve been here due to moving out of State. When I visited this month for work, State Gate Cafe was the perfect place to get lunch. I will say the prices can be a tad high, but it’s worth it. I got the gyro, and a coffee. Everything was delicious.

Coolest coffee shop in town. Looking for a great local cafe. Located in the basement of an old brick building that looks like a castle! Originally built as officers quarters. I showed this property before it sold. The wallpaper in there was fantastic.

The sandwiches are really yummy. Coffee is good and the place is cute. Only a 4 star since there is no seating that is friendly for drinking coffee with a friend. I have heard it has changed slightly in the amount of seati g so I look forward to going back with a friend or my husband.

The one star is for the friendly service, food and coffee get no stars. Drip coffee was weak and obviously old, not up to standard for the PNW. Bagels tasted like a warm squishy hamburger bun. Noticed on the way out the bagels were Sara Lee grocery store brand. A waste of $25 as both coffee and bagels were inedible. Don’t waste your money here.
