This restaurant goes by “Papa Chuy’s” but it didn’t matter. The name might confuse you but the flavors won’t. This was soooo good. We over ate because we loved it so much. Street tacos were good, the chuy special was my husband’s favorite. We wish we lived closer…we would definitely go again!

I decided to go back after the rebranding. I’m so glad I did! I had the deluxe queso and verde salsa! As well as a beef quesadilla no sides. The salsa was so hot! Nothing like their red salsa they bring to the table. I was so impressed because I previously thought their food was fairly bland. If you’ve not been here lately, go back and check them out!

Great prices, everything was around 12.00 or less, but I suppose you “get what you pay for” applies. The food was pretty much any small town Mexican food place in style, beans had very little flavor and ordered a “Mexican ribeye” which was very freezer burned, had some bad taste to it and the chili relleno was still frozen(they microwave them when you order them)…the server was great so we tipped her well based on her performance but the food was pretty bad.

We stopped in while riding through town on our motorcycle. It was busy so we thought it must be good. It was ok. We ordered flautas. They tasted like something you would get from Walmart. Just ok. We ordered a top shelf margarita. It tasted like a normal margarita, not top shelf tequila.
