Tropica Bar & Café had a cozy and relaxed ambiance, perfect for a casual night out. The bartenders were knowledgeable and recommended some fantastic craft beers. Tropica Bar & Café snacks were tasty and complemented the drinks well. The staff was friendly and provided efficient service. I enjoyed the laid-back vibe and would return for a chill evening with friends.

We walked in for lunch and immediately knew that everyone there was aware that the 2 of us were fatter and older than 5 years ago. Add to that the bartender, Mel, must’ve detected a hint of our retardation bc she mentioned on numerous occasions how to spell her name…the first test was drinks: I ordered us a “dunwoody house wife”..(1/2 water 1/2club soda 1 lemon wedge 1/2 cup of bitters shake it then pour it all out in front of strangers…its a treat) Lunch was delicious-spaghetti and meat sauce …just like mom’s as was Mel’s glare as she watched us slurp noodles off the bar. Finally dessert and let me tell ya- the foreplay leading up to the actual decision to order promised an explosive finish- Tuxedo : frozen strawberry something with ice cream…we waited- we were actually giddy with anticipation…the moment had arrived -VOILA! 2 pickle spears a pack of mayonnaise and strawberry candy…an equally delicious treat. (UPDATE:We went back this week- we got the right soda this time but still can’t recall how-to spell her name..)

It was recommended to attend Tropica Bar since it appeared on Bar Rescue. I was extremely disappointed! It was dark, cigarette and smoking, not clean, and stale. The drinks were not good either. The outside patio was not clean. The bartender and the music was nice.

Very nice and classic sports bar. The food was prepared well to my liking and hats off to Hassan for making the food experience great. 5th star would have been given for better lighting (while playing poker) and a non-smoking area.

First time eating from this place tonight and it was good…..I had the chicken quesadilla, House salad and my Husband had the steak quesadilla the salad was so big that we split it and still had some left. A wee bit pricy but it may be on our list of late night spots close to home.. didn’t give us our fries or eating utensils!!

I enjoy this bar. Never had any issues until a bartender didn’t like a comment of someone I met the night before. The 2 of them started arguing. Very unprofessional. I had to get between them. I removed him from the bar. It was simple and done. Went there yesterday to say goodbye to the patrons and my favorite bartender. She shows up and tells me I am banned.Ok? I leave and go to the store across the street. Another patron overheard my conversation. He said the same thing that I will always think about your bartender. She is bad business. She caters to her friends. I sat for 25 minutes once waiting on a drink. In my opinion. Do not go to this place while Bianca is there. Hopefully the owner will see this. I would be embarrassed. If I could give this place no stars, I would.
