I came in for lunch around 3pm on a Tuesday. I have no problem with the food, as I only ordered a vegetable chow mein. The lady was very rude. Does it hurt to greet your customers and smile? I mean, her energy is negative, stoic, and frankly, miserable. She could definitely use some work in the customer service dept. I tried doing what I could to lift her spirits, even saying “Thank you” in her presumed native language, but that didn’t even bring a smile. Meh. I guess I’ll take my service elsewhere, as they aren’t the only place that makes chow mein.

Chinese food is my favorite and I’m always on the hunt for a new place to satisfy my craving. The Happy Wok is good, but not a place I’ll go back again. The chicken used in both dishes is thigh meat. All the pieces were dark and chewy. The chow mein noodles were heavy and fill you up fast.
