Excellent service and some cool Happy Hour/daily special options. Not the best bbq that I ever had, no where close to the worst. If you have a peanut allergy, beware as they place buckets of peanuts on each table.

This is my second visit. About 1 year between visits. New owners/ management since my last visit. The food was good the 1st time & has vastly improved since. I ordered the brisket plate on both visits & the 1st time it was mostly fat, which I will not eat. This time it was the perfect ratio of fat to meat to remain tender, juicy and flavorful.

We had my daughters baby shower at Red rooster June 3rd and I do not regret. The food was great, the service was great, and for the price and the time we were there I was very satisfied. Will definitely be using again in the future. The manager Jennifer was awesome from the time I booked till the time we left! Highly recommend for showers and small events!

Dang good food. Was in the mood for a burger. I got the smokey burger with brisket and a side of onion rings. Fantastic! I was stuffed and barely finished. Wife got regular cheeseburger and kiddo got a plain hamburger with Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent. Our waitress was Carly C. She was super nice and helpful. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the neighborhood.

Loved everything about this place, the scenic drive over, the homey atmosphere inside, the nice waitresses, the pork, THE BANANA PUDDING, and those onion rings dear lord. I will be stopping by everytime I pass by Lagrange !

It seemed to be a pretty popular restaurant in the area. I went with a local acquaintance, but the food was served slowly, and the pork menu was a little bit dry than I expected but potato and onion fries were great. and other menus also looked pretty good. It is only a taste evaluation by people who are not locals, so I hope you take these aspects into consideration. The interior was beautifully decorated so that you can feel the typical American atmosphere, and it was good that there was no difficulty in parking. I would like to visit again next time and try other menu items.

First timer… My husband ordered regular ribs. He said they were great. I ordered the baby backs. They need to be cooked quite a bit longer, they were very dry. The flavor was good though. The onion rings were good but very thick beer batter. The coleslaw had a strange taste to it. Our waitress Casey was fantastic. We will give it another try it.

This restaurant has been hit or miss over the last year. Recently had a “new” grand opening so we decided to give it another try. What a surprise. The server Emily was on top of everything from the start! Being a BBQ restaurant I decided to go with the pork and brisket plate, and as suggested by Emily , the baked beans. I think the brisket was the best I have ever had, a little on the fatty side but delicious. The fattiness just helped it melt in your mouth! The pork was delicious as well and the sides could not have been better. My wife tried the BBQ stuffed baked potato…..it is huge! Stuffed with pork and loaded with other toppings! Will definitely be back and really hope it maintains this level of service and food this time around. The picture of the plate is not from their website…..it is the one I was served! Will update after next visit.

My family decided to try Hog Heaven since it was under new management. There was 9 of us. Our order was placed and 3 other tables of 6 came in after us and placed their orders. They got their food before us. We waited an hour for our food, it was ok, our server did the best she could. But I won’t be back, certainly was not worth the money.

First time, not pleased whatsoever. Food was cold, not even room temperature, no seasoning or flavor whatsoever. Definitely highly disappointed. Unfortunately, we will not return. Very short staffed, seems like 2 waitress, one of which was the host as well as a waitress. My expectations were not exceeded. The best thing we had, were the peanuts while waiting on our food.
