What a great dinner!! We both enjoyed the food so much. The ribs fell off the bone. The wings were great size and drenched in sauce. The sides were so yummy. The Mac and cheese was creamy and delicious!! The baked beans were phenomenal. And the Cole slaw creamy and crisp.

Service was great and the atmosphere was charming in a hole-in-the-wall sort of way but I don’t understand all the positive reviews. Soda was flat, cole slaw was sickly sweet and swimming, wings were overcooked/dry (both the smoked and fried), the brisket, ribs, and pulled pork were dry and overly sweet.

I really enjoyed my meal here. The staff was extremely friendly and service was great. My whole meal was great. Seems like a nice local spot for families. My only con was the restroom. The first thing I did when I went was wash my hands and I was pretty disgusted by it. The food could’ve been great but if the restroom was nasty and the customers can see it, how does the kitchen look? The one place we should feel comfortable that was CAN NOT see. So after washing my hands, I was basically turned off. Thank you for a great service though, I really did enjoy my night there.

This wasn’t my first visit, nor last for that matter. My service was top notch. The place itself is a little dark and could definitely use a little sprucing up. Always pleased with my food. This trip my lettuce seemed a little wilted but edible. I should mention I don’t eat meat so my standards for veggies are set pretty high. Overall it’s a great place and I’ll be back again.

The meal was phenomenal brisket A1, pulled pork out of this world & finally the full rack of ribs my top 5 ever. I don’t rate top 1 only my 5 best. Unbelievable on all levels service atomosphere, readiness, & friendliness. Like an old bbq joint in Texas.

Visiting from out of town so asked a local where to get lunch. She steered me correctly. The Tuesday special burger was juicy and flavorful, the fries incredibly delicious. I had to try the smoked wings with spicy sweet sauce and homemade blue cheese sauce. Fantastic!

We enjoyed our dinner and sitting on the patio. Our ribs were a little under cooked to our liking. We like them falling off the bone. The beans were so good. The boneless BBQ wings with ranch were very good. The banned sw potato was very good.
