I don’t usually write reviews, but this was absolutely my worst dining experience ever, so I feel the urge to warn others about this place. My family of three went there for lunch on a Sunday and when we walked into the restaurant there was no one to greet us. After standing for a while, we decided to just seat ourselves as there was only one other group dining there. Since no one was there to bring us the menu, the other dining party gave us their menu. My wife later had to go to the counter and grab another menu as well as to go search for a high chair for our toddler daughter. When the owner/server finally showed to take our orders, we asked that they do not add eggs to the fried rice as our daughter is allergic to eggs. The owner flat out rejected our request and said the kitchen cannot make fried rice without eggs (we ordered fried rice without eggs plenty of times in other restaurants). Later when the food arrived, we asked for additional small bowls so that my wife and I and our daughter can share the food. The owner again rejected our request and stated that it’s restaurant policy that customers cannot share food and they cannot provide extra bowls. When I was trying to explain why we needed extra bowls, the owner was just arrogant and refused to accommodate. She later even said, “didn’t your parents teach you that when you go into someone’s restaurant you should follow their policy?” It was just very rude of her to accuse our parents when my wife and I were simply asking for extra bowls. My wife and I were both very upset and furious about the service there (the food was okay), and when we told them we will never come back again, the owner was still arrogant and said, “you don’t have to come back.” What a nightmare dining experience.

came here for the first time and really enjoyed the food. The pho is really great. The waitress here is really kind and sweet, you can tell that she works hard to make the food, and that she loves what she does. Planning on coming back soon. You should definitely check this place out if you want to try authentic dishes 🙂

My husband and I went tonight and he enjoyed the ramen and I got pho. Huge portions for a great price and it was very good. I also enjoyed a milk tea, which was the best I’ve had. Happy to have a pho and ramen place closer to home and excited to try more things on their extensive menu. It was also really clean, quick and friendly service.

En route to Harrisburg from DC for a wedding but we needed food stat and hangry driving is never a good idea. Discovered this place after Google-ing Viet places in Pikesville (spoiler alert: this is the only one). We ordered the fried rice platter with grilled chicken and their special braised lemongrass chili chicken at around $12-14/each. Not only were the portions HUGE (one plate is easily shareable for two), but the chicken was tender and flavorful. Definitely hit the spot. Vietnamese ice coffee ($5) was done the old school way—bold, sweet, and high in caffeine. Next time I’d like to try their bahn mi. Service was very attentive, and seems like a sweet family runs the place. We would go again if in the area!

Frozen veg in rice. Brown lettuce in wraps. Brown bean sprouts. Messed up my order by sending noodles when I ordered rice. Chicken in PHO was rubber. How is a place like this gonna survive in Pikesville. Avoid avoid.
