Check in through yelp helped us get a table pretty quickly.

The service was extremely fast. Food came out within 5 minutes on a Sunday night which was amazing. When something was still being made the waitress told us without us having to even ask. The ramen was surprisingly good for ramen at an ayce sushi place. It could stand on its own at a ramen restaurant even. All sushi held its shape well – nothing was falling apart. I was a big fan of the no rice rolls and the seared tuna roll. Better than Sake2me.

Although it’s a all you can eat ,they don’t allow you to share. Order big the 1st round cause they only bring 3 pieces of sushi any items not eaten they will charge you extra

Good food and service but music is too loud. Small parking areas and restroom need more attention.

First when we came in they told us the wait time was an hour and we ended up waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes. When we came in and ordered they would serve our food on one plate so we wouldn’t know whether we had 3 orders of tempuras out yet or not. We were a party of 6 so we ordered 70 salmon nigiris (this restaurant serves only one nigiri per serving so 70 is like 11 nigiris per person) When we got our nigiri it was literally so thin compared to how it normally should be. Honestly not worth the wait to get a piece of sashimi thinner than your finger packed with a bunch of rice underneath… You can only order a total of three times so when we were doing our second round of ordering they took literally 15 minutes for them to pick up the paper you write your order on so we just sat there for 15 minutes waiting for them to pick it up. This was an overall really disappointing experience and I just wish they wouldn’t try to scam their customers because I saw many customers who came in with decently large parties mostly on average 5 to 6 people. I saw a family of around 8 walk in in front of me and I can’t imagine what their experience must have been if our nigiri was this tiny with a party of 6. The first two photos is the thinner nigiris and the third is a (though still thin) “average size” nigiri.

The all you can eat was a bit more expensive than usual but the quality definitely made it worth the extra. Plus they had tons of sashimi options.

I really liked this place when it was Aburi. I love it now that it is Aikan. The old management team is doing an amazing job. My sushi was better than ever. Their service is impeccable. We did AYCE and it was extremely fast and efficient. They have a perfect selection of rolls, specialties and premium sushi. Honestly you can go wrong here. I really like the AYCE because they make the rolls shorter and you can try more variety. I ate about 35 pieces of sushi, equals almost 6 standard rolls, (+ Gyoza). I got my monies worth.

What was formerly the Filipino turo turo DJ Bibingkahan, now a AYCE sushi spot is an interesting shift in the plaza. Aikan is a decent place for lunch AYCE and no need to go premium IMHO just because the selection of the premium items doesn’t seem worth it to me. But for the regular AYCE, the selection is pretty fair and pretty tasty. Service was pretty quick and the two hour dining experience is more than enough for a party of 4.
