My second time in a week. My eggplant Parm last week was better than this week. Both of the paninis we ordered. were soggy on the inside. For me makes it impossible to enjoy as I don’t like soggy stuff. The chicken on our chicken Parm was overcooked, dry, and had a mild scorched taste like it was shallow fried in a pan and the bits of the breading were beginning to burn. It was cooked way too long to be so thin. Had mango peach Italian soda again, that was good.

I ordered for delivery. It’s the most expensive delivery I’ve made on a pizza for myself so I was weary. $30 for a pizza? And I was right. Completely overrated. I’m FRUSTRATED the robust/tomato sauce isn’t sauce it’s minced tiny diced tomatoes. So mainly the texture and it just tasted more like a pop in oven pizza. No real taste to it. Just hardcore tomato. Even the crust tasted almost as if I wasn’t eating anything. When I called in to order or ask questions the staff was pretty accommodating and took my call with care. Not the service itself. I just don’t like the taste.

The gelato and garlic knots with sauce here are quite yummy! It’s a good place to duck into to avoid the heat. In particular the blood orange sorbet and mascarpone and fig gelato are lovely 🙂 only one flavor sample per customer!

Great spot and the pizza is as close to NYC pizza as I have had since living in Nola. Prices are very reasonable. Also the garlic knots are amazing. Also they have some great sandwiches and a wide array of gelatos.

We just got a couple slices after seeing how large they were. I had veggie and my husband had supreme. He was disappointed in the toppings on the supreme and mine was a little over cooked. I would definitely try again, and just order a fresh pizza. I also got the watermelon sorbet. It was gone before I walked back to the house! That was a nice treat on a hot day. Staff was friendly. The place is definitely a busy local spot.

Got the white pizza with spinach and tomatoes. Good lord. Huge, didn’t finish it the same night, but you just can’t go wrong with chewy crusts and ricotta chunks of goodness. Second night, for Gelato and pizzas. Zero disappointment!!
