My VERY PICKY Vietnamese family loved and approved this place! We are visitors from out of town and looking for good Vietnamese food to satisfy these critics is always a challenge. But everyone loved their soups! The cafe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee) is probably one of the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot from all over the world. The prices are very reasonable. The portions were generous. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable. We came in on a Saturday at 5:00pm and had the place to ourselves. The server (maybe owner?) was friendly and attentive. Food came out quick but very fresh. Do not hesitate to give this place a try!!

My new go-to place for a bowl of pho– I always add chili oil. The restaurant is always very clean, cool, and has plenty of parking

So first off I have to say thank you to the owner of the restaurant. My siblings and I were cruising through Hilo and stopped at Starbucks to get some coffee when we saw the open sign at Vans.

Ordered sate-beef noodle soup. Very comfortable noodle soup with aroma of tomato, herb and peanut. The dining environment is pretty clean and bright as well.

This place is a hidden gem. Nothing from the outside would indicate good food and value, but the Sate Noodle was really savory and satisfying. The Pho was very good and the broth was clean with minimum interference with the natural broth taste. I wish we had this in Honolulu.

This Vietnamese place is new in town, and I’m so glad it’s here. My wife and I have visited three times in the past week and a half, it’s just that good. The spring rolls here are the best I’ve had on the island: the perfect texture, so fresh I could cry. The portions are extremely generous and I’ve always had leftovers. Most of the time when I’ve visited I’ve seen people getting their orders to go, but we’ve always dined in and had an extremely pleasant experience. It looks unassuming from the outside, but you know what they say about treasure. It’s found within.

Amazing pho in the Hilo area and it opens until 9pm! Delicious spring rolls, pho (especially chicken pho), and Vietnamese iced coffee. This place hits the spot if you’re craving yummy pho, it’s fresh and broth is hot and flavorful! They make their own chili oil, delicious if you like to add spice! My family and I discovered this place today. Finally found a special place when we’re visiting! Will be back again for sure ❤️

The employee told me they don’t have one gluten free option which is unusual for a Vietnamese Restaurant.

Fantastic restaurant and delicious foods. All dishes are tasty and healthy. Clean and relaxing environments. We ordered the house special noodles and pho, and then grabbed some sandwiches to go. Everything is super.
