I had no idea I was going to end up here for what turned into impromptu dinner and drinks – otherwise, I absolutely would not have accidentally had three slices of pizza and a piece of cake for lunch. That’s the only regret I ended up having related to this experience, as this place ended up being absolutely perfect in every regard. My chum and I stopped by this past Thursday evening, which was a damp one for sure. We’d ventured over to Park Ridge for a visit to a gourmet market and noticed that there was a decent looking establishment across the street. Choosing not to be intimidated by the valet parking, we walked over and immediately made ourselves comfortable next to the bar in a cozy corner high top with plush seats.

Great staff, incredible good and atmosphere. Never a bad meal. Staff attentive to everything. Not just a steak house but a real chop house with braised short ribs, fish, pork chops and killer sides. Top shelf bourbon and wine.

Side items were a bit overcooked but it wasn’t “returnable” bad. Steak was pure perfection. My hubby ordered the braised rib dinner which he stated was very good. Both meats were tasteful and tender. I had the filet and they didn’t have to butterfly it! The cocktails were also good and reasonably priced ($15).

Overall a good experience. They decorated the place for the holidays. We were seated downstairs where the tables were amply spaced. The service was not exceptional, simply adequate. I don’t fault the waiters because I only saw two waiters downstairs, one of which was doing double duty as a bartender.

Food was good well ok at best. Ordered the 151 burger which was good but way too much pepper jam and also get the improved painkiller cocktail and not sure what did it, the burger or the cocktail but I’ve been messed since. My stomach has been in so much pain and I’ve been on the toilet constantly which really ruined it for me. Place was pretty nice though and the staff was pretty good also. Not sure if I’ll ever eat there again though after this experience. Could just be that the food don’t sit well or the cocktail but still sucks to be in this type of pain for the rest of the evening and following morning….

Food was outstanding… We had chosen off the menu but when we heard the specials we went with two appetizers from the specials menu and two entrées from the specials menu. Outstanding. Service top-notch! Diane was our waitress I’m not sure who the server or bus boy was but they were also fabulous. A wonderful experience.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. I had a dry aged ribeye cooked perfectly to medium rare. The seasoning was spot on and the meat was so tender. The sides were great, appetizers we had shrimp cocktail and thick cut bacon, all delicious. The had an Old Fashioned that was delicious. The service was amazing as well. I can’t imagine a meal being any better. I travel around the Tri-state area trying different steakhouses. This is by far the best.
